Look, Robotic Process Automation is awesome. It’s like an excel macro automation that can operate across different applications. 60% of companies are adopting some type of automation and RPA is a leading product because it SEEMS pretty simple.
Newsflash: it’s not.
64% of RPA adopters take 8+ months before they see their first unattended go-live. Depending on the vendor you used and how much you bit off, that can easily be $100K-$200K in licensing cost alone. It’s awesome, but building an RPA program that can scale takes way more than some of it’s vendors would have you believe. If you’ve had experience implementing RPA, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
